Typical of Melbourne laneways, great food by staff who care about the service they provide. Warm but not invasive; food tasty and a great price.

Amazing service and quality of food, never been here before but the owner is incredible at serving and making you feel welcome. If the world had more smaller cafes with the shop owner like this the world would be a happier place. Definitely would recommend this little shop in the corner of the city.

I stumbled across this cafe when looking for a breakfast joint. Inside a narrow lane with hoarding on all sides. Gordon’s was like an oasis. It’s exactly what I like before my first coffee of the day; very casual, unassuming, and great food that made me miss home. Exceptional coffee too. Service was terrific - I don’t want to call them "staff" they were down-to-earth blokes. Hard to find but the best holes in-the-wall breakfast joint. Great value too.

We had a delicious brunch at this very cool laneway Cafe. It's hot a great vibe inside, although we did eat outside to enjoy the fresh breeze! We ordered the Avocado Delight (Please note that our photos were taken after we spread the Feta and Avocado over the toast - they were originally separated), and the egg was cooked perfectly. The male staff member was very friendly and attentive. It was a happy experience.

Enjoyed our breakfast in one of Melbourne's many laneways. Nice place with character that wasn't too overcrowded. Reasonably priced as well.

Despite the construction around the joint, the handwritten sign stood out and drew us in, the alley took us to a lit up cafe with awesome antiques and memorabilia, we were welcomed with a big hello and a smile from the owner, we had a great chat about the history of the business. coffee was great, breakfast was wicked! Was such a great experience we went back the next morning!10/10 only thing that took away from the atmosphere was the construction on either side of the street, but will be back for sure!

I was in need of a quick bite to eat and this gorgeous, happy little cafe did not disappoint. the construction around Gordon’s did not disrupt the vibes! , the staff were exceptionally happy, tunes were pumping and awesome, service was spot on and my takeaway sandwich came very promptly. Thanks guys, keep up the awesome work - it’s evident you love what you do
